Tovolo Silicone Steamer

$18

 — Sarah M

As you know, I am a Farmer’s Market Fanatic, and am practically overwhelmed with all the fresh & fabulous veggies now available, but this product saves the day.

I am a big believer in steaming, as all the nutrients and flavors are retained.   This Tovolo Silicone Steamer is an essential tool in my kitchen. The handles lock together and don’t get hot, so it is easy to remove.  It fits in any of my pots, doesn’t scratch, and stores anywhere.  But since it is such a nice, simple design, I frequently use it on my counter to hold fresh fruit!

Founder’s Centennial IPA

$10.69/6-Pack

 — Nathen

From the first time I tried Founder’s Centennial IPA, I was overwhelmed with how delicious it was! From the first scent of its beautiful floral bouquet to the light citrus notes that it provides, I was smitten. Then, I was thoroughly blown away by the dry-hopped nature of this beer only to have it finish off with a smooth malt characteristic that must be tasted to be believed.

If that wasn’t enough to jump start your taste buds, I learned that August 4th is International  IPA Day, a grassroots movement to unite the voices of craft beer enthusiasts, bloggers, and brewers worldwide through social media. So, stop into the Market and grab a 6-Pack and then let us know on our Facebook Wall what you think of this beer.

Santa Lucia Costa Rican Coffee

$20/14oz bag

 — Georgia

With so many types of tasty coffees to choose from it's difficult to pick a favorite. But with the new Santa Lucia arriving from Costa Rica the decision is much easier. For me, this coffee offers a perfect balance of flavor, body, and aroma. It's complex juicy taste smoothly translations into a pleasant cocoa finish. The body is strong enough to satisfy but not big enough to offend. And when it comes to the aroma....what can I say? Pick up a bag and smell it for yourself.
I would advise you to be cautious, this coffee might just blow you away

Dunbarton Blue from Roelli Cheese Haus, WI

$31.99/lb

 — Courtney

Once in awhile someone brings me a taste of a cheese that really "wow's" me, like Dunbarton Blue.  This artisanal cellar cheese is a hand crafted, open air cured cheese with the earthy characteristics of an English Cheddar coupled with the look and subtle flavor of a fine blue cheese.  It is creamy, intense, and smooth.  This is a fantastic regional cheese with very limited exposure. Pair this cheddar blue with your favorite summer sip, red or white!

Milagro Silver Tequila

$28.99/btl

 — Caitlin

I first had this tequila in the Sillver Splash margarita at Bistro Bella Vita.  I was surprised at how clean and fresh it tasted, and just made the margarita taste all around better—so good, I might have had three that night.

Milagro was started by two college friends with a passion for tequila. They were determined to make a great tequila of their own, so they found an estate in the Jalisco highlands where they could grow and harvest their own agave, and found a master distiller that was excited to work for a company that didn’t want to cut corners.

Milagro tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave, it is crisp and citrusy with just a touch of pepper. It is the perfect margarita tequila, and for a premium tequila, is perfectly priced for mixing. Try it with Domaine de Canton for an amazing ginger margarita.

I know what you’re thinking, Cabernet in August?  Yes! but not just any Cabernet.  The Domaine Sonoma Cabernet started out as an unknown and has quickly become one of our best selling red wines.  This rich and complex red is an incredible value, perfect for entertaining and pairing with grilled foods.  If you’re a fan of big reds, you have to try this wine.  Cheers!
